Amy Duncan is a founder, consultant, and investor with over 25 years’ experience working in the high growth life sciences industry. Specializing in strategy and positioning, she’s held sales and marketing roles at what is now Thermo Scientific and as a consultant has advised scientific founders from nearly 100 life science companies to help connect with customers and investors. Active in the local startup community, she served as Fund Manager for the San Diego Angel Conference (SDAC) III raising over $1.7M from mostly first-time angel investors in four months that invested in five companies. She serves as communications chair for the San Diego Entrepreneurs Exchange (SDEE) and is a member of NuFund Venture Group (TCA-SD), a member of the Marketing and Membership Committee, Angel Capital Association (ACA), and is an advisor with The Brink SBDC. Amy earned a BS in biochemistry from UC Davis and an MBA from San Diego State University.
