Allele Biotech has recently received Notice of Issuance of 2 of its patents on reprogramming adult human cells into pluripotent stem cells in the US and related applications in EU and Japan. These patents, together with more than 3 years of diligent protocol development and facility and assay validation, form the foundation of Allele’s platform to support clinical development of iPSC-derived cell and gene therapy programs.

Allele also received Notice of Issuance of its patent on mNeonGreen, which is the brightest monomeric fluorescent protein and dubbed the “King of Fluorescent Proteins” by researchers in the field. Additional patent application on antibodies against mNeonGreen has been filed. Allele further owns the parental tetrameric and the dimeric versions of this protein.
