Sidra earned a PhD in Microbial Molecular Genetics, and studied protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions in a multi-resistant plasmid RK2. She developed a strong interest in business development, technology commercialization and startups through her involvement in entrepreneurial events and interactions with startup founders and Venture Capitals at Harvard Innovation Lab. This led her to work as a business development professional with MIT startup Wefunder and Oxford University startup LabMinds Inc.

She is currently helping Johnson & Johnson Innovation JLabs (San Diego) with their entrepreneurial events while looking for the next opportunity in sales & business development in the biotech industry.

Sidra now live in La Jolla, California. In her free time, Sidra enjoys chasing sunsets, traveling on the west coast or working on her landscape oil paintings.
