Whether you are considering a start-up or want to grow your existing company, SDEE’s Boot Camp provides a complete tool kit for successfully achieving the next critical step.

Monthly educational sessions feature a panel of experts who will focus on a selection of core topics. These meetings are paired with monthly mentoring sessions to provide small groups with the perfect opportunity for peer-to-peer discussions to explore the topics and their specific application. This program is also an excellent opportunity to expand your network with colleagues that have successfully faced the issues that you will or are now working through.

Educational Sessions:

• 6 core sessions
• 1 optional session
• 2 - 3 speakers/session

Mentoring Sessions:

A key strength of the SDEE community is peer-to-peer mentoring. Peer groups of no more than 6 members will be established based on geography and/or entrepreneur area of focus. Small group sizes help with team cohesion and ensure adequate focus on the unique situation of each member. The monthly mentoring sessions will be scheduled separately from the education sessions and will be led by an experienced facilitator to provide advice and additional resources.

Thursday, September 12, 2019: Optional introductory overview for participants making their debut as an entrepreneur. Participants will prepare a 3 slide pitch deck to share
Tuesday, October 1, 2019: Getting Started (business basics, entity formation, common pitfalls)
Tuesday, November 12, 2019: Operations/building a team/selecting outsourcing & vendor partners
December 2019: No session
Tuesday, January 7, 2020: Budgeting, fundraising, and client acquisition
Tuesday, February 11, 2020: IP and Licensing
Tuesday, March 10, 2020: Exit strategy
Tuesday, April 7, 2020: Pitches

Mentoring Sessions: Time and location will be determined by the group, but should be scheduled within about two weeks following each education session.
