Life science entrepreneurs, save the date!

Whether you're networking in a room of investors, potential partners or community leaders it is important to convey your "personal brand” quickly and succinctly. Capturing and holding your listener's attention from the start is critical.  Let’s kick off the new year with some fresh skills that will help us make valuable connections in 2018! 

Kelly Huang, Corporate Learning Facilitator at HBS Publishing and UCSD Extension Faculty member, will open the event with some expert advice from 5:30 - 6:00PMfollowed by wine, a pitch practice and connecting with fellow life science entrepreneurs.

Kelly C. Huang

Corporate Learning Facilitator at HBS Publishing, Leadership Training, UCSD Extension Faculty

Kelly C. Huang brings over 20+ years of executive, teaching and management consulting experience to her current role as a Corporate Learning Facilitator at Harvard Business Publishing (HBP). Kelly taught virtual leadership training classes that leveraged the management insight, thought leadership, and expertise of HBS faculty and HBR authors.

Kelly started her career in sales and marketing IBM and Monsanto. Since 2009, she has also designed and delivered marketing and entrepreneurship curriculum for UCSD Extension and CONNECT.  More recently she has worked closely with high-technology and biotechnology start-ups in San Diego and Silicon Valley to devise partnerships and product launch strategies.Kelly holds an MBA from Harvard Business School & a BA in Computer Engineering from Brown University. She is active in the local start-up and angel investor communities and speaks Mandarin fluently.
