Hannah H. Chang, M.D., Ph.D. is an Investment Director and Head of Wu Capital USA focused on US-based biotech venture capital investments. She was previously an investment professional at 5AM Ventures where she served as Board Observer for Ambrx, Biodesy, Cleave, Crinetics and co-founded IDEAYA Biosciences. Earlier in her career Dr. Chang was a Project Leader and member of the Healthcare Practice at The Boston Consulting Group. Dr. Chang obtained her M.D. and Ph.D. in Biophysics from Harvard University. Her work on the stochasticity of cell fate transitions was published in the journal Nature. Dr. Chang obtained clinical training in internal medicine and ophthalmology at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. She is a licensed physician in the District of Columbia and based in San Francisco.
