SDEE ‘s famous year-end social this year was on December 11^th, 2018 at Crinetics Pharmaceuticals, which kindly hosted the party in its new facility. SDEE members and their guests came out in big numbers for this festive occasion to network and have a good time.

Open bar with wine and craft beer and delicious appetizers, finger food, and desserts from Bristol Farms made the evening especially enjoyable. Local companies donated numerous items for the opportunity drawing and attendees could buy as many tickets as they wanted for the raffle. We had a lot of fun choosing which gifts to bet on, and see if we had won. Gifts included a snowboard, an iPad, gift baskets, coffee and a coffee maker, many generous gift cards, wines and spirits, headphones, and other interesting items.

The holiday party is one of the great events that SDEE organizes and that members can attend free of charge. It is certainly a good reason to join the organization and participate in other activities throughout the year, including networking events and happy hours. Members also benefit from discounts to supplies and equipment, as well as to workshops and other educational events, which are always interesting and fun at the same time. We look forward to another successful year for the SDEE community and the San Diego life sciences industry.
